THE DINGBAT PHILOSOPHY
At Dingbat Beer we love the outdoors. Rock-climbing, skiing, snow-boarding, rugby, cycling. Stress-relieving stuff that works up a thirst only Dingbat Beer can quench. We’ve spent decades in the lab designing the perfect isotonic recipes to aid recovery. Not really. We just like a decent beer.
WHO ARE WE?
Simon and Adam are two West Midlands-based blokes with young families and day jobs. In our spare time we brew. The back-story of Dingbat Beer is home-brewing in our garages before a conversation over a beer and the question: “How hard can it be to sell this stuff?” See the ‘Dingbat Beer thrills and spills’ section for more …
Bold and Refreshing
ETNA is a lightly hazed IPA named after the volcano on Sicily. Thanks to some aggressive hopping (Citra, Columbus, Cascade), ETNA’s flavours and aroma erupt out of the glass. Vegan (no finings). Contains gluten (grain, oats, wheat).
SLAB is a smooth dark ale with chocolate tones and a delicate hazelnut aroma. Contains gluten and traces of hazelnut. Vegan - unfined. Why SLAB? Slabs are smooth sections of snow hollowed out by mountain winds. Smooth like SLAB porter.
4.0% Session IPA
DYNO has a smooth mouthfeel and a smoky, bitter finish. Oats and wheat added to the base malt give DYNO its haze. And the name? DYNO is rock-climbing speak for a dynamic move, or “dyno.”
